Window Into the Past

This painting can only be described as striking. Starting with its bold orange and red color palette, it is certainly a statement piece. As you spend more time with this multilayered, acrylic painting, you begin to notice all of the subtler details and textures that make it so interesting to not only look at but to stare at and get lost in. The glazes of the underpainting are then cut by the black charcoal before more vibrant colors and unique brushstrokes finish off the top layers.
